Welcome to Alternative Semester Break
Alternative Semester Break is a student led organization intent on making an impact in their community and beyond. Members of ASB volunteer during their semester breaks on a multitude of activities including but not limited to:
Volunteering at the soup kitchen and shelter
Assisting at the Boys and Girls Club as role models
Giving their time, energy, and love to the animal shelter pets

Food drives
This organization is run by President Kaleigh Pele and Vice President Declan Masters. Alandria’s head of English department Mark Lewis serves as the faculty advisor and assists in setting up contact with organizations in need of volunteers.
If you are interested in joining ASB, please complete this application for membership and attach a three page essay on the benefits of outreach programs. Please include any volunteer experience you have within the three pages. We also need you to provide two faculty recommendations for yourself. Finally, your GPA will also be used to consider membership.
